IND vs SA” “Virat Kohli Will Come Hard At Rabada”

By admin Dec25,2023

In what is very likely seem to be the last Test series in South Africa for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, they will “come hard” at Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi, and Marco Jansen. This is the prediction of the legendary South African speedster Allan Donald.

Virat Kohli is 35 years old and Rohit Sharma is 36. It’s unknown when will India tour South Africa for a Test series next time, though they have played two Test series here in last 5 years. India lost both those series by 2-1 scoreline. India, under Kohli, even took a 1-0 lead in the 2021/22 Test series, but then squandered it by losing the next two Tests.

This time, there are only two Test matches on this tour. So India, under Rohit Sharma, can’t afford any game to lose as the team aims India’s first Test series win in South Africa since their readmission to international cricket in 1992.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are the biggest threat and leaders of the group: Allan Donald

Virat Kohli vs Kagiso Rabada has been an intriguing, gripping individual battle over the last two tours. And it’s going to be the same once again.

Allan Donald, who has worked with Virat Kohli at RCB, fired an open warning to Rabada and his teammate pacers about the threat that Kohli and Rohit bring.

Speaking to RevSportz, Allan Donald said: “Virat Kohli doesn’t need any motivation as he is already motivated enough to give his best. I know him, having worked with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They are absolute legends of the game and will come hard at South Africa on their last tour.

“They are the biggest threat and leaders of the group. Virat, Rohit have fans over here and the two will go after the bowlers,” he added.

Rohit Sharma missed the previous tour due to injury. Now he’s leading the side as India targets a historic Test series win in South Africa. But it won’t be easy. Even though South Africa will be without Anrich Nortje, Rabada and Ngidi have been declared fit for the first Test in Centurion on Boxing Day.
