Seeing a Lamborghini in India, let alone buying one, is a rare moment. This is because the Italian supercar manufacturer Lamborghini’s cars are extremely expensive, and most people can’t afford them. However, some people make it their mission to get something similar. So for this reason, a lot of them go the aftermarket replica route. Recently, a video of one such Lamborghini Centenario—the brand’s special commission hypercar—was shared online. This exact replica has been based on an old Honda Civic sedan.

Honda Civic Modified into Lamborghini

The video of this Honda Civic modified into a Lamborghini Centenario has been shared on YouTube by Mihir Galat on their channel. It starts off with the presenter introducing the owner and creator of this Lamborghini Centenario replica. He states that previously he had created a Lamborghini Aventador replica, and now this is their latest creation. He states that it is inspired by a Lamborghini Centenario, which is a limited-run hypercar that was originally created by Lamborghini for their extremely close clients from across the globe. Only 20 coupes and 20 roadsters were ever built and priced from $2.3 million.

The owner of this particular replica adds that this is a hybrid between the coupe and roadster as its roof can be opened as well as closed. Soon after this, he mentions that this job has been done by them in the budget of Rs 12-13 lakh without the donor car. He shows that this particular car has been entirely made of fiberglass with custom-molded body panels. He also states all of these parts are ready in stock and if a client who purchased a car from them crashes it and needs parts for repair, they can provide them. After this, the presenter shows the functional aero parts of this replica.

Apart from this, on the mechanical side of things, the owner mentions that the car utilizes the same 1.8-litre in-line 4-cylinder petrol engine from the donor Civic. It makes around 130 bhp and 171 Nm of torque. The owner adds that in this price of Rs 12 lakh, they also include a coilover kit which lowers the suspension and ride height of the standard Civic.

Originally, the Lamborghini Centenario comes equipped with a massive 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine. This is the same engine that comes in a standard Aventador; however, it has been tuned by the brand to generate a maximum of 759 bhp and 590 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a single clutch ISR automated manual transmission which is known for its extremely aggressive shifts. The Centenario can do a sprint of 0-100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds, and it can also reach a top speed of 350 kmph.
